The short version: Cozy Small Spaces contains affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission from the retailer. You never pay more because of it, and a commission never buys a product a place on one of our lists.
What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link is a normal product link with a tracking code attached. When you click it, the retailer records that you arrived from this site — usually by setting a cookie in your browser — and if you go on to buy something, the retailer pays us a small percentage of the sale. The price you see and the price you pay are exactly the same as they would be if you had typed the retailer's address in yourself.
Programs we participate in
- Amazon Associates. Cozy Small Spaces is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
- Etsy, through the Awin network. Links to Etsy shops and listings are affiliate links served through Awin.
- Walmart, through the Impact network. Links to Walmart.com are affiliate links served through Impact.
We may join additional affiliate programs over time. When we do, they will be listed here.
How this affects what we recommend
It does not. We choose products against the criteria described on ourAbout page — damage-free installation, real small-space dimensions, a firm price ceiling, and a solid review and returns history — and then we look for an affiliate link afterwards. Where a product we want to feature has no affiliate program at all, we still feature it and simply link to it without earning anything.
No brand pays us for placement, for a particular ranking, or for a favourable description. If that ever changes, any sponsored content will be clearly labelled as sponsored at the top of the post, in line with the Federal Trade Commission's endorsement guidelines (16 CFR Part 255).
Prices and availability
Prices, discounts and stock levels shown on this site reflect what we saw at the time of publication and can change without notice. The price displayed on the retailer's own site at checkout is the price that applies. Products may sell out, particularly seasonal items in the weeks before a holiday.
Your privacy
Affiliate networks set their own cookies once you leave this site. What they collect is governed by their privacy policies, not ours. Ourprivacy policy explains what happens on this site and links out to the relevant retailer policies.
